KnowNOW is a dynamic, menu-driven web/mobile app. Essentially it is a hierarchical list of information, like an outline. The clean, intuitive UI allows your employees to quickly access information and dive in for more detail.

How does it integrate with existing systems? (such as HRIS, LMS) 

It can integrate several ways. The content can be loaded to existing LMS and made part of the course offerings, as stand alone apps on desktop, or through API’s developed to transfer information from vLS or vLRS. 

What operating systems will it work with? 

The App will work on any tablet, smartphone, or desktop. If the client wants tracking, measurement, reporting, login, content and device management the only option is iOS today. This is the vLS and bookshelf platform.

Can additional courses be added? Yes. They would be treated as new Apps. Can be made available on desktop or through bookshelf depending on customer implementation. 
How do updates work? 
Several options here. It can be pushed to the devices and App’s directly or through the “sync” process on vLS. Since these are each custom Apps it is a new App each time. Updates can be done by client if they have the JSON developers and have been trained on the course design. 

Currently customers are requesting we price in the updates and additional customizations. 

 

How many categories for KnowNow? 

KnowNow is a dynamic menu app and therefore has limitless scrolling capabilities. However, for ease of use (locating info for example) we recommend 5-6 categories each going as many as 10 levels deep. 

 

 

Can client do updates? 

 

Yes, with the proper developers on staff. 

 

 

Do you have to have vLS? 

 

No, the solutions both work without it and on any tablet or smartphone, even desktop. However, if the client wants to track, measure, report, manage users, content and devices they will need vLS. It will put everything in one place, it will allow easy access, updating, and administration. It will act as the mobile LMS.
